Car accidents can leave patients entangled in the wreckage of cars that requires an almost surgical process to remove them. To add to the challenge, cars change every year adding further obstacles to firefighters having to cut the car apart that if handled wrongly can further injure patients as well as firefighters. Classes are held to provide the knowledge and skills needed to safely remove a vehicle from around a patient without further injuring them.
